Top Interview Questions

Here is the List of Top Interview Questions frequently asked in interviews -
These five questions are frequently asked during the interview: -
 
1) Tell me about yourself (or) this question can be framed in many different ways and it is very important as it gives an introduction about you to the interviewer.
 
2) Why or what was the reason for leaving your previous job?
 
3) Explain about your project and the complexities you faced during its execution?
 
4) Why should we hire you state some examples to support your answer?
 
5) Explain about your interests and hobbies and why they interest you?
Try to have answers to these questions jotted because they are very frequently asked during an interview. While answering these questions try to be honest and give a well rounded thought before answering to them. If you have difficulty in speaking English then try to attend a tutorial. Technical knowledge is primarily required if you want to increase your chances. Technical knowledge can give you approximately 40% chances of securing an interview.
These are some of the behavioral oriented questions: -
 
1) What was the biggest challenge you faced during your project and how you over came it?
 
2) What made you to choose this field what interests do you have in this field?
 
3) Tell us about a situation in which you had to manage your team to achieve a target or a deadline?
 
4) Explain us some of the guidelines you followed which paved a way for successful completion of the project?
 
5) How do you analyze a project and its features?
These are some of the tips which you might find helpful. Do have your own ones they will be much more useful than these.
For the first question you need to answer it honestly about the challenges you faced and the solutions you developed to overcome it. Only a person actively involved in the project can answer this question. Refresh your memory to answer this question. Project report details should be kept as detailed as possible.
Technical questions are always present in an interview and they are chiefly directed towards the project. Refresh your project memory clearly and try to have some points and tips on
 
1) Project report in general.
 
2) Technicalities involved
 
3) Environment and behavior of the project
 
4) Team members and their contribution.
 
5) Deadlines
 
6) Strategy you planned for completion of the project any logic you devised to complete the project.
 
7) A complete analysis of the project.
The above topics are very much required because they are most frequently asked.
If you are a fresher and need information then the best thing to is to start with your documents, certificates, awards, seminars and extra curricular activities.
Have all the letter of recommendations from your professors, teachers, and head of the departments because they give you a complete profile about you.
When you are explaining about the project you did explain to them about everything in detail which includes technical and non technical information.
 
Some of the questions which you will be asked during the interview are: -
 
1) Explain a time or situation during your project when you had to purely rely on analytical ability?
 
2) What extra feature if added to your project would have improved the reliability and cost to profit ratio of your project?
 
3) Did you at any time regret of being assigned the project? If so why?
 
4) What made you to leave your previous employer and seek our company?
 
5) If you have your retirement money at this point of time would you retire?
For the last question you need to ask yourself. Be honest and try to answer them which make you feel confident. Also remember we all work for money and some work for passion. Considering the above sentence try to answer the question.
Whenever you answer to these types of questions it is always good to use soft skills. Soft skills give you an edge over other competitors. Soft skills become much more important when you are in group discussion or in a panel interview.
When you are discussing the salary part be reasonable according to your experience, achievements, and job position. There are instances when candidates demanded the interviewer of higher pay which the company eventually paid because he was talented. If you have skill then you are at your own will to demand more money.
